Join the CLEAN IT UP! Campaign.
The Marlborough Democratic Committee will be cleaning up a section of 9W in the vicinity of CVS as participants in the New York State Adopt A Highway program.
This volunteer action will kick off on Saturday, April 22 as a tribute to Earth Day with the DOT training program to take place in Highland at 8:00 am at the park located next to the Firehouse and Police Dept. From there, we will schedule our clean up dates.
Bring a friend! Many hands make light work and we will be doing our part to keep our environment and our Town clean!
Contact Mici Simonofsky at 845 236-4243 to sign up and for more details.
Marlborough is a historic farming community located in the beautiful Hudson Valley, about 70 miles from New York City.
To the west the rugged hills, with their pristine aquifers, fall eastward to the fertile Lattintown valley abundant with fruit and vegetable farms.
Further east lies the Route 9W commercial corridor, including the Hamlets of Marlboro and Milton. From the hamlets the land falls off dramatically with waterfalls and cliffs to the Hudson River where there is a riverfront park, restored 1885 train station and marinas.
Our Committee meets on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 PM at the Sarah Hull Hallock Library located on Main Street, Milton. Please email me firstname.lastname@example.org so I can inform you of our events, and any news that deserve your attention. Easier yet, call me at 845 236-4243 for more information.
We appreciate your membership in the Democratic Party. Your voice is important, and we want to hear from you. Let’s meet soon, and welcome!
